Our vision is that Crescent Valley High School will nurture students to grow as responsible citizens, engaged learners and prepared for the transition to life beyond high school. In order to reach high levels of achievement and personal success, all individuals within the Crescent Valley community strive to think and communicate effectively, demonstrate integrity, show kindness and be positive role models. Our students also will be self-reliant and able to tackle new challenges with confidence and skill.

Aaron McKee, Principal since 2017
Mr. McKee has worked in the Corvallis School District since 1989. Joining CV as principal in July 2017, he was most recently the assistant principal at Linus Pauling Middle School. He has also served as assistant principal at Crescent Valley High School, and as a teacher at the elementary, middle and high school levels. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a Master’s degree in Movement Studies in Disability, both from Oregon State University. Aaron has created many positive relationships in Corvallis schools over the years through his coaching, teaching, and leadership roles.
Nikki McFarland, Assistant Principal since 2016
Ms. McFarland joined the Crescent Valley administrative team in 2016. Nikki moved to Corvallis with her family in 2014 from Bellingham, Washington where she taught Biology and Environmental Science and served as both Dean of Students and Assistant Principal at Squalicum High School from 2002-2014. Nikki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Planning and Geology and a Master of Education in Secondary Science, both from Western Washington University. Nikki is a National Board Certified Teacher and was a Fulbright Teacher Exchange participant in the Czech Republic during the 2008/2009 academic year.
Jon Strowbridge, Assistant Principal since 2018
Mr. Strowbridge’s began working in the Corvallis School District in 2012 and was hired as assistant principal in 2018. He is a life long Corvallis native and a graduate of the Corvallis School District. He has been a coach in the district for a decade and was most recently a PE and Health teacher at Cheldelin Middle School. He also has taught the AVID elective class. AVID is a program designed to help students develop better study skills and college readiness. Jon graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelors degree in Exercise Sports Science and he earned his masters degree in Health Education from Western Oregon University.
