Everyone — Start a Club at CV! — Student club applications are available in the CV Front Office.  Organize your friends and make new friends who are interested in the same thing!

Students & Parents — Women explore engineering — Crescent Valley High School has been invited to bring 20 young women on Tuesday, Oct. 22, to the HP Corvallis campus to explore engineering and technical fields while networking and problem-solving with HP professionals on site!  The event will include:

  • Engineering hands-on activities and site tours
  • Lunch with speed-networking where girls are given the opportunity to connect with several HP women engineers

We’ll check in between 9:00-9:15 a.m.; depart HP at 2:00 p.m.  CV will provide transportation to and from HP.

Please come to Beyond CV (Career Center) to RSVP and to pick up permission forms—they are due back by    Oct. 1.  Slots will fill up fast!

Upcoming Dates to Note

Parents — All Grades CV Open House — Tuesday, September 10 — 6:00–8:30 p.m. — An email will be going out soon to parents with log-in information so that you will be able to download your student’s schedule to bring with you to Open House.  We hope to see you Tuesday evening!

Students — Registration for Fall, 2019, SAT Review Class — will open Sept. 12, 2019. You will be able to pick up the forms from the CV Beyond CV Office (Career Center) beginning Sept. 12.

  • Tuesday evening sessions are Oct. 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12 (practice test) & 19 — 7:00-9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday morning sessions are Oct. 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16 (practice test) & 23 — 9:00-11:30 a.m.

Students — PSAT—The PSAT is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 30. All sophomores are automatically registered and juniors interested in taking the PSAT may sign up starting September 16 in Beyond CV (Career Center).

Students & Parents — Students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend college visits to CVHS. Students need to sign up in the Beyond CV Office (Career Center) and will be excused from class. College visits are an excellent opportunity to learn more about a wide variety of higher education opportunities in Oregon and beyond.  Students & Parents — College Night — Please note that College Night will be hosted by CV this year.  It will take place on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

16th Annual Raider ShootOut – benefiting CVHS boys and girls soccer teams

The 16th annual Raider ShootOut Golf Scramble, a fundraising golf tournament benefiting the boys and girls soccer teams at CVHS, will be held this year on Sunday, September 29 at Trysting Tree Golf Club.

The Raider ShootOut is a 4-person team scramble shotgun event.  The entry fees are $80/person for adults and $60/person for high school students and younger.  The cost includes greens fee, golf cart, range balls, continental breakfast, and lunch from El Sol de Mexico.  $40 of the entry fee is tax deductible.

We are actively seeking both golfers and sponsors!  Registration for the tournament can be done online at www.raidershootout.com.  The deadline to register is Sunday, September 22.   Our website also has information about becoming a sponsor and links to pay registration fees or donate online.

Information is also available on the attached flyers.  Please feel free to distribute the flyers to friends or family who may be interested in golfing; or to business or other contacts for potential sponsorship.
