Everyone — Sustainable Living Promotion — Among other items of interest at the Earth Fair on May 30, there will be a table of free clothing for all students. You are encouraged to support sustainable living practices and donate good used clothing. Donations may be brought to Ms. Stone’s room (D44A) before Thursday.

Everyone — Volunteers Needed for Hoover Elem School Carnival, May 31, 4:45-8:00 pm — Gather a couple of friends and help raise funds to support the Hoover School community and have a great time! Help is needed operating games and activities during the carnival.  If you are interested, please email Rich Carter at rmoregon@yahoo.com or call 541-250-9034. Be sure to include: your name, your organization (or family name), your return phone number, and the number of volunteers interested.

Everyone — SYNC Free Summer Audiobook Program for Teens—Every week from April 25-August 1, you may download a new pair of free audiobooks based on a weekly theme. Offerings include high-interest and popular new titles. Get your free books at https://www.audiobooksync.com where you may also sign up for email or text alerts about the weekly downloads. See the CV Library check-out counter and bulletin board for more information.

Everyone — FREE Books @ CV Library for All Staff and Students! — We have lots of fiction and nonfiction books up for grabs along the entire wall of shelves by our library staff work area. There’s a wide range of genres, both adult and young adult — mysteries, thrillers, classics, westerns, fantasy, sci-fi, realistic fiction, true crime, and more. Books not claimed will soon be going away.

LBCC Extended Learning Programs — LBCC is offering summer opportunities that include Drivers Permit Preparation, Tractor Training, and many others. Please contact LBCC at 541-917-4849 to reach the Extended Learning Department.

Training Teens for Tomorrow — This teen academic and employment program through the Boys & Girls Club provides teens with academic support, job skills training, career exploration, and a real-life experience that helps them graduate from high school and pursue their career aspirations.
