Everyone — NuScale Power is providing a job shadow opportunity for students interested in the field of engineering. This event will take place on Tuesday, April 14th, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. CVHS will provide transportation. There are only 8 slots. If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please come to Beyond CV to sign up by Monday, March 9th. First come, first served!

Everyone — March Madness Basketball — Sign-ups are available in the hallways. Teams of three (with one sub). Games will be March 16th-19th at lunch in the gym.

Everyone — Upcoming Field Trip — Microsoft Entrepreneurship & Business Workshop.  A team from Microsoft is offering future entrepreneurs the opportunity to participate in two FREE workshops on Friday, March 20th:  Make Hustle Happen and Start Your Own Business. Students will learn how NFL players “make hustle happen” through side businesses and collaboration to serve a cause they care about. Attendees will also get guidance in developing their ideas into a robust business plan and a polished pitch ready to share with the world. Field trip forms are available in Beyond CV and spots are limited to 15 students! The bus will depart at 9:00 am and return at 1:45 pm on March 20.

Everyone — The CV Library Makerspace Is Open — Come Check It Out!  (Definition: Makerspaces provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage design, experimentation, building, and inventing as you engage in art, science, engineering, and tinkering.)

Everyone — Support Crescent Valley Baseball The CV Baseball team is taking orders for 20# boxes of Texas Rio Star Grapefruit or California Navel Oranges (or mixed boxes). The citrus fruit is delivered fresh and we’ll deliver it right to you! If you would like to order just reply with the number of boxes and if you want oranges/grapefruit/mixed. Each box is $30 and checks can be made out to CV Baseball. Please place your orders by emailing Coach Shimabuku by March 15th at jeffrey.shimabuku@corvallis.k12.or.us. Orders will arrive by the end of March. Thanks for your support as we continue to work to improve the experience for student-athletes!

Everyone — Spring Fling Friday, March 6th from 8:00 to 11:00 pm in the CV Cafeteria. Tickets may be purchased during lunch for $8 or at the door for $10. The theme is “Tropical!”

Everyone — Parent Prom  Saturday, March 7th from 7:00 to 10:00 pm in the CV Cafeteria. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased through a Raider Royalty contestant or at the door. The theme is “Back to the 80s!”

Everyone — ASB Interest Meeting  Do you want to be your class president or ASB president? Attend the informational meeting on Monday, March 9th at lunch in D44A to learn more.

Everyone — Trivia Night  Thursday, March 12th at 7:00 pm in the Library. Come solo or with a team. Prizes and snacks will be provided.

28th Annual Asian American Youth Leadership Conference  to be held on Friday, April 24, 2020, at the Sylvania Campus of Portland Community College. Register online and get more information at http://aaylc.org/  Registration Deadline April 3, 2020
